Says it is against JK’s integrity
Srinagar, Apr 24: Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former agriculture minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Monday said that Pakistan should not declare Gilgit-Baltistan as its fifth province, saying that the move is against the integrity of Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to KNS, Mir said that Pakistan is playing its role in resolving the Kashmir issue via United Nations and the move of declaring Gilgit-Baltistan as its fifth province they are thinking to carry out is against the resolutions passed in the UN over Kashmir.
“The move is not only against the UN resolutions but against the integrity of JK as well,” he added.
Mir said, “I believe that Pakistan should not declare Gilgit-Baltistan as its fifth province to save the integrity of JK, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Gilgit-Blistan parts occupied by China. Pakistan must think considerably before declaring it as its fifth province.” (KNS)
