Two army persons, including officer were injured in an ongoing encounter at Chokibal forest area in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The operation was launched on Friday after security forces received information about the presence of militants at Chokibal forest.
According to officials, A soldier of 41 RR and an officer sustained bullet injuries during the exchange of bullets.
Meanwhile, The cordon-and-search operation was going on in the area with the additional reinforcement of commandos from 4 PARA and Special Operation Group of Police, Official said.
