MLA langate Er Rashid was attacked by right-wing activists, resulting injury in Bhaderwah town of Jammu region on Wednesday.
Earlier Rashid was coming back from a public meeting held at Dak Bunaglow when some miscreants allegedly attacked his car with stones at Dumail-Saran, around two kilometers from Bhaderwah town.
The windshield of the left front window where Rashid was seated broke down in the attack, resulting in injuries to the MLA.
The miscreants, allegedly workers of Bharatiya Janata Party, also threw black colour at Rashid’s car.
After the incident, Rashid staged a dharna at Amira Nagar area and even denied security from police and other officials.
