No Shortage of Oxygen, Remdesivir in UT Says Advisor Baseer Khan

 

Srinagar 29 April (KNB): Baseer Khan, advisor to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, said on Thursday that there is no shortage of oxygen or medicine in the UT of J&K and appealed people to not pay heed to rumours.

Khan said during a press conference — which was attended by SKIMS Director, Div Com Kashmir, DC Srinagar — on Thursday late evening that there is ample quantity of Remdesivir injections available and no shortage of oxygen is in UT as of now.

Khan said that the J&K UT has placed an order of 1.25 Cr of vaccine, which has already been dispatched. He further said that UT is best in terms of handling the Covid situation.

During the press conference Div Com said that UT has enough oxygen available now in comparison to its consumption. (KNB)
