Narrating the ordeals of conflict; “Children of Conflict” screened

Krack Productions held first official screening of their Short-film “Children of Conflict”

Srinagar: In an effort to boost the short film making culture to narrate the ordeals of Kashmir’s three decade long conflict, Krack Productions held its first official screening of their Short-film “Children of Conflict” in the auditorium  J&K P.E.T Darul salam Sopore, on 2 November.

Director of the film, Majid Imtiyaz, held a presentation and a small debate after the film screening.  He explained how the film reflects the situation of the future of a child residing in any conflict and disputed region on the globe. “It gives the understanding of the uncertain future of a Kid who has nothing to do with any conflict or dispute. He also shared the whole process about how this film was made,” he observed. Imtiyaz said their up-coming project  “Rehaan” A Kashmiri Thriller written by Malik Sameed (bureau chief – The Kashmir Scenario) is under the Pre-production process and will be on floor soon.

Muslim Conference chief Prof. Abdul Gani Butt and President J&K P.E.T, Haji Prof. Muhammad Muzaffar War were the chief guests. Many renowned personalities including Malik Sajid (Editor-in-Chief, The Kashmir Scenario) and Prof. M.A Charoo were also present during the screening.

Besides, all artists and actors were presented with gift hampers from the production team.
