Demands compensation to families of slain cops
Srinagar Jan 6: Senior PDP leader and Member Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Baig has condemned the killing of four policemen, including an officer, in an IED blast at Sopore early morning today.
In a statement issued to KNS, the Baig said it was highly unfortunate to see these young cops being killed when they were in the line of duty in the town.
He demanded that adequate compensation be sanctioned to the families of the cops killed in the blast.
Baig has conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
