Condemning the death of a Kashmiri driver Zahid Rasool Bhat who succumbed to injuries at Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital after a mob attacked him and set their truck on fire earlier this month, MLA Wachi Aijaz Ahmed Mir has expressed heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
Mir demanded that the culprits involved in the gruesome act should be punished under the law.
“With such attacks, a fear has crept among the Kashmiri people travelling from Jammu to Srinagar. Government should handle the situation to prevent things going out of control,” he said.
