Suspected militants attacked the residence of Congress leader Imtiyaz Yousuf Parray son of slain Ikhwan Chief Kuka Parray in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday night.
However, Imtiyaz was not present in the house and his family members escaped unhurt in the explosion.
However, Parry was not at home and all his family member have escaped unhurt.
Reports said that suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards the residence of Congress leader Imtiyaz Parray at Parray Mohallah in Hajin at around 2.am.
The grenade exploded inside the compound with a big bang. However, no damage or injuries were caused by the explosion.
“Security guards present there retaliated back by firing but they escaped and we are safe”, Imtiyaz said
