MIG colony Bemina an important population centre of Srinagar city comprising of scores of households is suffering from short voltage and often single phase on account of hooking resorted to by some dishonest households and to add salt to wounds the PDD has failed to put curtail on it.
The Kashmir Scenario repeatedly awakened the higher authorities of PDD especially the Chief Engineer PDD and every time after giving assurances nothing happened.
Mohammad Shafi, a resident of MIG Colony Bemina stated – “We are suffering acutely on account of inept power officials as they have failed to control the hooking resorted to by few dishonest and not given us satisfactory voltage in this killing cold of winter.”
All this is making suffer the women busy with household and students.
Whenever Chief Engineer PDD Shanaz Goni is contacted she gives assurances never to be implemented.
As per the latest the residents have complained the PDD is making them die in this killing cold and if something undue happens they are responsible.
