Srinagar 09 January (KNB): The snowfall in the Kashmir valley again started in the early morning hours on Saturday with the snow accumulation recorded in inches across the valley.
The depth of snowfall in various parts of Kashmir was recorded till 9:00 a.m. as;
Anantnag 2″-3″, Shopian 2″-3″, Pulwama 3″-4″, Bandipora 1″-2″, Budgam 2″-3″, Yousmarg 3″, Ganderbal 2 -3″, Srinagar 2″-3″ and Kulgam 3″-5.
However, the MET department has predicted better weather conditions from mid-day in Kashmir valley.
Pertinently, the air traffic, brought to halt by bad weather conditions, is going to be resumed in the later part of the day, as per officials. Whereas, the J&K National Highway will remain open only for stranded vehicles. (KNB)
