Srinagar, May 28 (KNB): Two militants were killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and government forces in forest area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir on Tuesday.
As per the sources, the gunfight broke out after the army’s 19 RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off the forest area situated between the two villages of Kharpora and Kashwan in Kokernag.
The encounter ended with the killing of two militants.
The identification of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.(KNB)
