Rajouri Police achieved another success in recovering a kidnapped minor girl and accused arrested from Rajouri area.
The said girl aged about 15 years, who is a resident of a village of Dhandkote, Darhal falling under the jurisdiction of P/S Darhal Sub Division Thanamandi was abducted by a boy from Narian, Darhal.
Investigating the case, Police team headed by SHO Darhal Mohd Azeem under the supervision of Iftikar A Chowdhary SDPO Thanamandi and overall supervision of Addl SP Rajouri Mohd Yousif, raided the suspected location in Rajouri and recovered the girl who was later handed over to the family after completing all legal and medical formalities.
Accused namely Arshad Mehmood S/O Abdul Hamid resident of Narian, Darhal was arrested from the spot.
A case FIR 68/2017 U/S 363, 109 RPC already stand registered in Police Station Darhal and further investigation is going on.
It’s pertinent to mention here one another missing lady was recovered by the same team a day earlier.
