The J&K contingent who represented State in the 7th Dragon Boat National Championship, held at Guwahati, Assam from December 17 to December 19, 2015 has won two Gold medals and one Silver medal .
The team Manager and Coach Farooq Ahmed informed on phone from Guwahati that the team J&K won Gold medals in 200 meters event for Men and Mixed teams& the Women team from J&K won Silver medal in the 200 meter event.
The Vice President J&K Dragon Boat Association, Aamir Ali has congratulated the team members and wished them success for the next events.
The team was trained by the J&K Dragon Boat Association and supported by J&K Tourism, J&K Bank and TCI Cements.
