J&K legislators Calls On Delhi CM

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir legislators called on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and sought details about his government’s initiatives in the fields of education and health.




The team of members from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Ethics Committee including Legislators, Abdul Rahim Rather, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Abdul Majid Larmi and Neelam Kumar Langeh met Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat here. The visiting MLAs asked the Chief Minister about the implementation of free medicines and diagnostic tests scheme in government hospitals,” it said.

The delegation also visited Delhi government school Sarvodya Bal Vidyalaya, Rouse Avenue ITO and took a round of the school. They saw the smart classrooms, modern sports facilities, multipurpose hall and other refurbished infrastructure of the school which has witnessed infrastructural revamp and met Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel. “The visiting delegation expressed a keen interest in how the Delhi government is sustaining this public welfare measure and how it is coping with the rush at its hospitals.”
