New Delhi: Renowned lyricist and member of Rajya Sabha Javed Akhtar on Tuesday hit out at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and said the party has no right to demand the mortal remains of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru adding that only the parents of the latter had the right to do
so.
“What right does PDP has to demand Afzal Guru’s mortal remains? It is a right of his family. If Afzal’s family is demanding his mortal remains, they should be handed over; no issue should be made out of it,” told Akhtar.
