In an important development, senior trade union activist and Government Employees Conference President Ishtiyaq Beigh has been elected as president of Non Gazetted Employees Welfare Association SKIMS.
The body of NGEWA was recently constituted and now elections were held. Many employee organizations including EJAC (KMR) , Government Employees Conference, State Teachers Front , Anganwardi Employees Union, CAPD employees Union, Rural Development welfare employees Union ( Village Level ), have Felicitated Ishtiyaq Beigh on being elected as President NGEWA SKIMS.
Ishtiyaq Beigh has meanwhile appealed to the Director SKIMS that in upcoming SSC and SFC meetings consideration should be given to genuine demands like the service enhancement and promotional issues of non Gazetted Employees SKIMS .
