Srinagar 29 March (KNB): IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Monday said that two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants were involved in the carrying of an attack on councilors in north Kashmir’s Sopore in which one councilor and cop died.
Kumar said after visiting the Sopore attack site on Monday that the LeT’s Mudasir Pandit and another non-local militant were involved in the Sopore attack.
He has also given direction to SSP Sopore for suspending four PSOs who, according to Kumar, had not responded appropriately at the time of the militant attack in Sopore.
Regarding the attack’s aftermath, he said that the CASO was carried at two places and has said that they are looking into it. (KNB)
