Jammu : National Conference working president Omar Abdullah on Saturday Jolted the whole state and bragged the PDP into a corner on a possible tie-up with the BJP by his tweet on Social media Platform Twitter , that his party would Distribute Free Ration, Kerosene and LPG Cylinders to citizens of state for entire 6 months if PDP breaks tie with BJP.
Omar in a Tweet said that ” We have made our own CAPD Department under the aegis of Sher-i-Kashmir Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Scheme (SKCAPDS) ,Our godowns are full with Food grains, Kerosene and LPG cylinders and we would Distribute Free Ration, Kerosene and LPG Cylinders to citizens of state for entire 6 months if PDP breaks tie with BJP. ”
PDP, which had emerged as the single-largest party after the Assembly elections, to form a government in the state has seen this announcement by NC as a breach to governor rule and has requested to GOI to look into the matter.
While talking to media PDP’s Unofficial spokesperson Mian Mehboob said ” We cant tolerate this announcement, our state is already in debt, this announcement by NC depicts all that they have looted the state during their rule and it is breach to governor rule. we request to GOI to look into the matter”
A joint spokesperson of UJS termed this an excellent step and said ” it is great to hear that NC have announced this atlast, this is the real time when kashmiris can show center how to run a parallel government here in Jammu and kashmir”.
Hurriyat (K) has asked the JKNC to bring Power also into its SKCAPD Scheme, ” our power projects are feeding the indian states, PDP was not able to bring back the power generating stations. we see a bleak chance in getting them back, all we want now is free continous power supply round the clock for these months as its spine chill here in kashmir and in these situations we cant move out of kashmir”.
