Srinagar : All party Hurriyat Confrence led by Syed Ali Geelani has called for a complete shutdown on Saturday as a mark of protest against the Mother Son Duo killed in cold blooded murder by a member of Village defense Committee (VDC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A spokesperson of the outfit said that the VDCs have been created to suppress Muslims in Jammu province.
“The chairman has appealed people, especially those living in Chenab and Kashmir valleys, to make the Saturday’s strike call a success to send a strong message that these militias created to terrorise Muslims should be disbanded immediately,” the spokesman said.
He called the killing of mother-son duo by a VDC member as “state terrorism”.
