Hizb remembers slain militants on their 20th anniversary

‘Youth sacrificing lives at present following their path’

Srinagar, Mar 07: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Tuesday paid tributes to the slain outfit leaders on their 20th anniversary.




I an e-mailed statement to KNS, the Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying, “To take the mission of our martyrs including Er Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Gazi Naseeb-ud-din, Er Firdous Kirmani, Gazi Ilyaas andto the logical conclusion is the best way to pay them tributes.”

While addressing a condolence meeting on their 20th anniversary, he said, “The martyr leaders who were highly educated sacrificed their lives for Islam and freedom. The youth sacrificing their lives at present are following the path of these leaders.”

He said, “Rendering sacrifices are not easy but these sacrifices would help the people of Kashmir to achieve their goal.”

Hizb chief said, “The Indian leaders and Indian agencies were living in fool’s paradise as they thought that by killing these leaders would end the armed struggle in the Valley but the history stands testimony to the fact that these sacrifices have strengthened the movement.”




He directed the militants to “keep vigil on the black sheep’s among the people of Kashmir and keep distance with them.” (KNS)
