Srinagar 05 March (KNB): Hilal Akbar Lone, son of NC leader Mohammad Akbar Lone, on Thursday night, was released after giving bail to him in the case of alleged hate speech by Baramulla court.
Hilal was booked under UAPA after keeping him in temporary detention for his alleged hate speech during the DDC election campaigning in the Baramulla district.
However, late last night, Hilal was released after bail was given to him within a month from the date of charging him under UAPA.
Pertinently, Hilal’s bail comes after police had intercepted him on his way home last time and then, with the passing of some time, charged him under UAPA subsequently. (KNB)
