Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a militant along with arms and ammunition from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to police officials, a joint team of army and SOG during a raid arrested a militant of Harkatul Mujahideen outfit today.
The official identified the militant as Ishfaq Ahmad Sofi, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi of Model Town-B, Sopore.
“One pistol, two hand grenades were recovered from his possession”, he said.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case and started further investigations in this regard. (GNS)
