Srinagar, Sep 17: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Wednesday directed the administration to ensure smooth flights for the intending Hajj pilgrims, which are being resumed from September 20.
Addressing a meeting to review the situation arising due to recent floods in the state, the Chief Minister said that all documents of Hajj pilgrims are safe and they need to reach directly to the airport on the revised flight dates already announced by the State Hajj Committee yesterday.
It may be recalled that the rescheduled Hajj flights will start from September 20th and the intending pilgrims have been requested to reach directly to the Srinagar Airport for immigration and other formalities.
