Graveyards Are Filled With Kashmiris; Central Govt Should Start Dialogue Either Here or With Pakistan To Stop Bloodshed: Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar 20 February (KNB): Ex-Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday said that the Central government should start dialogue either in Kashmir or with Pakistan, who are alleged of stoking violence by the centre in the valley, to stop further losses of the lives of Kashmir’s youth, Police and other forces here.

While talking with the reporters at Aishmuqam after paying her condolences to the family of one of the cops — Suhail Ahmad, who was killed in yesterday’s Baghat attack, Mebooba said, “Government of India should think that how far the sacrifices of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Police and other forces would continue. It is a big matter that should be solved so that the people here(J&K) would live peaceful lives.”

She further said that the BJP government should start the dialogue either here or with Pakistan, alleged of creating violence in Kashmir by the centre.

“Graveyards are filled with Kashmiris. To end the bloodshed in Kashmir, the centre should reinstate the dialogue here (Kashmir) or with Pakistan — often alleged of creating violence in Kashmir by the Centre,” said Mehbooba. (KNB)
