Srinagar, March 22(KNB): Feroze Peerzada, Mumbai-based Kashmiri businessman who joined Shah Faisal’s political party Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) said, “Will focus on development, unemployment,” in an interview.
Earlier, Faesal accompanied by the former Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) student leader Shehla Rashid, businessmen Feroze Peerzada and many other scholars, announced their joining the party on March 17.
While talking to Kashmir News Bureau, Feroze talking about his joining said, “I was pitching for Congress but all of a sudden after watching Faisal’s Interview I got very much impressed, Faisal is very loyal to the society, left his luxurious life only for well being of society and this is the main reason, despite having contacts and connection with all other leading political parties, I choose to join this young and loyal man.”
He further said, “the main objective of the party will be to pursue peaceful resolution of the Kashmir problem as per the will and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir State”.
When asked about custodial killing of a school teacher, Rizwan Pandit he said, “Government of India should arrest those officers who have ruthlessly interrogated innocent school teacher Rizwan ……this should not happen, all the culprits should be prosecuted and put behind the jails.”(KNB)
