Srinagar 24 March (KNB): Funds to the tune of 81,000,000 (Rupees Eight Crore Ten Lakh only) have been released by govt in the favour of District Development Commissioners (DDCs) of 18 districts of J&K yesterday for wardens of Gujjar & Bakerwal/ST hostels under their jurisdictions for purchase of furniture and furnishing items of the hostels.
Official order copy lying with Kashmir News Bureau reads that the “Sanction is hereby accorded to the release of funds to the tune of 81000000 in favour of the below mentioned District Development Commissioners of UT of J&K for its for its further placement at the disposal of at the respective wardens of G&B/ST hostels under their jurisdiction to the extent of amount shown against each on account of purchase of Furniture and Furnishing items for G&B/ST hostels through GeM portal as per the specification and quantity approved by the purchase committee during the financial year 2020-21.”
Funds to be released by DDC Jammu in favour of the wardens of G&B Boys Hostel Jammu = 4506000, G&B Girls Hostel Jammu = 5663000, G&B PG Boys Hostel Jammu = 319000, (Total = 10488000) .
Funds to be released by DDC Rajouri in favour of the wardens of G&B Boys Hostel Rajouri = 3224000, G&B Girls Hostel Rajouri = 3904000, (Total = 7128000).
Funds to be released by DDC Poonch in favour of the wardens of G&B Boys Hostel Pooch = 4563000, G&B Girls Hostel Poonch 2939000, (Total = 7502000).
Funds to be released by DDC Doda in favour of the wardens of G&B Boys Hostel Doda = 5321000, G&B Girls Hostel Doda 1785000, (Total = 7106000).
Funds to be released by DDC Samba in favour of the wardens of G&B Boys Hostel Samba = 3015000.
Funds to be released by DDC Kishtwar in favour of the wardens of G&B Boys Hostel Kishtwar = 807000.
