Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani has appealed for complete and statewide shutdown tomorrow, October 12, against the murderous assault on Kashmiri truckers in Udhampur district of Jammu region by the communal forces.
Mr Geelani said that the Udhampur terrorist attack by the “RSS backed goons” is an eye-opener incident for the pro-Indian people of the state and also a wakeup call for all the peace loving people of Jammu & Kashmir to stand up and act against the communal mentality of the government backed terrorists.
He said that Udhampur attack in which two Kashmiri truckers were set on fire by the communal elements is an attempt to damage the economic condition of the Kashmir on the pattern of 2008 economic blockade. Hurriyat chairman appealed people to observe a complete shutdown.
