Srinagar, Apr 26: Dal lake is flowing at an alarming level following which water entered into some residential colonies around the Dal lake early Sunday.
A local said that the increase in water level has created panic among Dal dwellers who alleged that LAWDA failed to drain out the lake in time.
However, a LAWDA official told Kashmir Scenario that Gaw Kadal outlet has been thrown open to decrease the water level in the lake.
But he said water was slowly flowing from the lake into the Jhelum river because the water level in the latter was still higher.
