Anantnag 03 dec (KNB): Government forces wednesday morning launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Gundi Jafar village in Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
Official sources said KNB that troops of 19 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, 40 Battalion of CRPF and Special Operations Group of JandK Police sealed Gondi jafar village and launched house-to-house search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
They said, that the large number of forces have been deployed in the area and search operation was going on. (KNB)
