Government forces cordoned off Hussanpora Arwani village of Bijbehara in south Kashmir on Wednesday after gunshots were heard.
Sources said that two militants could be hiding in the area where the operation was laid by army and police today evening.
Meanwhile, clashes have erupted in the area with youth taking to streets to apparently help the militants to escape from the area.
