Srinagar 06 Dec: Ex Power Commissioner Ghulam Hassan Rather breathed his last in the wee hours today at his residence.
Rather was 73 and was honest, dedicated officer during his whole service career.
People from all walks of life have mourned his death and have expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. His Namaz e Jinazah would take place today at 11:30 am at Hyderpora near Masjid e Ibrahim.
Ghulam Hassan was elder brother of Ab Rahim Rather and uncle of famous orthopaedic surgeon Dr Fiaz Ahmed.
