Encounter Breaks Out In South Kashmir

An encounter broke out between militants and security  forces in Pulwama district of south Kashmir late Tuesday.
According to official, Army’s 55 RR, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police, 183 and 182 Bn CRPF jointly cordoned off Naina Batpora village of Pulwama district after information about the presence of militants.




The militants, he said, fired upon the forces, trigerring off a gunfight.
Three militants are believed to be trapped inside the village, said the official.
