Srinagar: Two policemen, including an officer were injured in a militant attack in Anantnag district of Kashmir, police said.
According to police, SDPO Bijbehara and a policeman were injured when militants opened fire on them at Bijbehara. The Police officer, Irshad Ahmad who was injured in the incident has been shifted to Srinagar’s Badami Bagh Cantonment Hospital for treatment.
The area has been cordoned off by police, CRPF and army. Massive search operation is on.
