Srinagar, June 2 (KNB): A leading pulmonologist and Head of Department, Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar, one of the exclusive facilities for the management of the novel coronavirus in the Valley is among the 20 new cases tested positive for the virus on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the reports, the sample of the senior doctor, one of the top healthcare workers leading from the front in the fight against the disease, was taken on Monday afternoon and it returned positive late last night.
Meanwhile, J&K reports 19 new cases of Coronavirus on Tuesday morning including 09 from Ramban, 02 from Udhampur, 08 from Poonch raising total number of confirmed cases to 2,620 and 31 dead so far.(KNB)
