Div Com Kashmir Suspends Kreeri Lambardar; Involved in Illegal, Fraudulent, Deceitful Acts Says Tehsildar’s Enquiry Report

Baramulla 10 March (KNB): A Lambardar of Bandara Village of Kreeri, Baramulla was suspended on 6th of March over several illegal acts, by the order of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.

The order (No: 514-Div.comK of 2021) issued by the Div Com Kashmir said that a consequent upon enquiry report by the Tehsildar Kreeri, Abdul Hamid Khan, Lambardar village of Bangdara Tehsil Kreeri district Baramulla, is placed under suspension with immediate effect.

The order also directed Tehsildar, Kreeri to assign the charge of Lambardar, Village Bangdara to a nearby Lambardar.

Furthermore, the order said that Assistant Commissioner (Rev), Baramulla is hereby appointed as an Enquiry officer to conduct a thorough enquiry into the matter in light of content to enquiry report received by the office and shall submit a report within a period of two weeks.

Moreover, speaking to Kashmir News Bureau, Tehsildar Musaib said the several residents of the village filed a complaint against Lambardar, Abdul Hamid Khan and accordingly a team was constituted to enquire about it.

During the enquiry, Musaib said that the Lambardar was found involved in several illegal acts.

Tehsildar said that Khan had issued fraud certificates and allegedly had also uploaded picture of a person with torn up clothes on a social media platform.

There were several other complaints made against him and details about the same, has been included in the enquiry report submitted to the concerned authority, he added.

Furthermore, Kashmir News Bureau got access to the FIR (No. 05/2021 Under IPC 420) filed in Police Station Kreeri, which said that the enquiry report submitted by the team constituted by the Tehsildar, ascertains that Lambardar Abdul Hamid Khan has been involved in illegal, fraudulent and deceitful acts.

The application also demanded his terminations and appointment of new Lambardar. (KNB)
