Deputy Commissioner Shopian today nominated District Social Welfare Officer, Shopian as enquiry officer to investigate into the allegations leveled against the Hajj Cleric. The DDC directed for immediate suspension of the official and instructed DSW to submit report within two days regarding the matter.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that any illegal and unlawful act will not be tolerated at any cost in the District.
The Deputy Commissioner sought cooperation from public and asked them to bring complaints before the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in person in order to take immediate action against the erring officers/officials.
