Kashmiri women on Tuesday held pro-freedom rally in South Kashmir’s Bijbehara town.
According to reports, that the pro-freedom rally is being led by Dukhtaran-e-Millat outfit.
Pertinently, Kashmir’s current uprising has crossed the hundred days of continuous shutdown and curfew marked by brief periods of relaxations mostly after sundown.
So far, at least 95 civilians have been killed, over fifteen thousand others injured included nearly one thousand pellet injured.
The state has detained nearly ten thousand political activists, protesters during this period. Many of the detained have been bailed out. However, some five hundred persons have been put in jails under ‘lawless’ Public Safety Act (PSA).
