COVID-19 positive cases cross 200-mark in J&K

Srinagar 09 April (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir on Friday reported 25 new positive cases of covid19, bringing the total number of infections in the UT to 207.

Out of the total 25 positive cases reported on Friday itself, 18 were from Kashmir, while rest of the 0 7 cases emerged from Jammu, officials said.

According to media bulletin issued to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), 46158 number of travellers and persons in contact with suspected and positive cases have been put under surveillance, while 7726 were put under home quarantine, including facilities operated by the government.
197 people are in Hospital Isolation, 415 in Hospital Quarantine, 27891 in Home surveillance, while 9925 people completed their 28 days surveillance period, 2754 are negative and 207 were tested positive in which 197 active positive, 35 in jammu and 162 in Kashmir Valley.” Bulletin said. (KNB)
