JAMMU, APRIL 20: In an another controversy pouring into the already disturbed state politics, Congress today shown a great displeasure and condemn Dr Jitendra Singh’s statement, “ Why should we go to Civil Secretariat,will call Civil Secretariat to Delhi”.
In a press statement issued by Congress leaders including Abdul Maji Wani, Salman Nizami, Sheikh Mujeeb, Aslam Goni, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Advocate Shaik Abrar and Dawood Bashir have strongly condemned the MOS PMO statement and called it to be an awkward, callous and unconstitutional statement from the BJP leadership.
Congress leaders said that such type of statements actually exposes the real mindset of so called BJP and demanded an apology from him for disrespecting the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir state.
“At this hour of trouble and distress caused by nature’s havoc, state was in need of some mega rehabilitation and resettlement initiative instead of issuing such irrelevant/unjustified statement which further widens the gap between the state and central government”, said Congress leaders.
The Congress leaders have asked both the coalition partners in the state to come upto the expectations of common people by doing something on ground instead of deviating from their promises for which they got overwhelmingly support from the people.
