Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Friday sanctioned relief of Rs 3.87 lakh in favor of 3 auto rickshaw owners whose vehicles were set ablaze by “miscreants”, a government statement said.
The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 1.29 lakh each in favor of the three affected persons to enable them purchase new vehicles and earn their livelihood.
Earlier on 4 October 2016, some unidentified persons had set ablaze three auto rickshaws in Srinagar and after the incident; Government had announced that their cases shall be considered sympathetically for adequate relief to enable them earn their livelihood.
