Forces used teargas shells to break up a demonstration in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Monday in Kareemabad in Pulwama in south Kashmir on Monday evening after government forces cordoned off the village.
Witnesses said that clashes broke out in Kareemabad village of the district after forces laid a cordon in pursuit of militants there.
Army’s 55 RR, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 182 Bn CRPF are on the job, said an official.
