The services of premier public sector Telecom communication company BSNL, which since two months on account of unrest has emerged as lone source for internet and communication is coming in for a flak.
Mobile phones and Landlines are totally non-Functional in areas like Bandipora, Kokernag,Kupwara etc .Pertinently ,Broadband internet services are also down in many areas, even in different areas of capital city Srinagar .
Ruling PDP MLA Kokernag Rahim Rather , while taking to the Kashmir Scenario stated -” We urge upon the BSNL to pull up its socks in this crucial time and do whatever to improve its service in these testing times for Kashmir .In many areas, BSNL service is not up to the mark.”
