Srinagar, Nov 9 : Deputy Chief minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on Thursday directed for greater synergy among the law enforcing agencies for thwarting any possible security situation and also defeating the what he called evil designs of anti-national elements.
According to GNS, the Deputy Chief Minister was speaking at a high level meeting convened to discuss the security scenario in the valley.
IGP Kashmir, Muneer Khan and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
Dr Singh directed the officers to be extra vigilant in order to prevent any untoward incident.
Deputy Chief Minister also complimented the police for doing a “commendable” job in the sustainment of peace. He said that they been on forefront in maintenance of the peaceful environs and also other people friendly initiatives. (GNS)
