In latest optimistic developments with reference to the administration world, J&K government has cleared extension in services of the incumbent chief secretary BB Vyas, who was due to retire in November this year, a sources have stated.
B B Vyas, a 1986-batch IAS officer is known as administrator of par excellence.
He has served as the principal secretary to the Jammu and Kashmir Governor and former Chief minister Omar Abdullah, besides holding various positions including the Principal Secretary (Finance).
Vyas, who is known an able administrator and shares cordial relations with the top leadership of all political parties, and has always played a crucial role to fine-tune the administration.
An Admin analyst stated – “ BB Vyas has always played a dynamic role in making the administration more vibrant and the news of him getting further extension is a good music to ears. In these tough scenarios the state of Jammu and Kashmir needs further services of able administrator like BB Vyas.
