The population of Kashmir is increasing in every given day, the needs of people rise up stream. As all know that Kashmir is well known for its beauty in all circumstances, but the current traffic situation in Kashmir is rotten day by day and as the progress of developing the roads and traffic lights is happening but despite this commuters feel coerced rather than relaxed. The traffic police even can’t manipulate the situation because they don’t have required training given by government and on maximum instances are always busy with their personal dreams. From some voices the growing populace is reason of traffic jam but the basic reason is army convey.
When Army conveys comes out from their transit camp, they stop all the transport for long intervals of time until their all vehicles come out, and then allow local vehicles, if somebody objects or states something to them, they use the appalling and rude language even try to beat them, and they simply don’t give side and become the reason of traffic jam, even the ambulance is joke for them, everybody knows ambulance siren is emergency case so why army conveys don’t give them side because they have their own weird rules, they don’t break their rules and even if somebody is fighting with his life this means nothing to them because they have their own rules and regulations.
The traffic signals are made for everyone I am perplexed by the fact that then army doesn’t obey the rules even there ; rules are made for everyone if it is common man or VIP. Recently during my interaction on the given topic a common man namely Umer Yousuf told me that he was travelling and he had to reach for interview but unfortunately suddenly army convey came out from their transit camp and stopped him for a long time and then they didn’t give him side easily and he was totally struggling at end of his destiny, so when he reached for an interview, it was finished and he missed the job and till now due to this he didn’t have a job yet, and he blamed army for his unemployment.
Till now the grave issue of convey is not resolved and people are facing lot of problems. The traffic situation of Kashmir is in front of every commoner of Kashmir, one always witnesses busy traffic in every corner of Kashmir and accidents happen in every given day due to traffic jam. No doubt “speed is like knife which can cut the life” but if they were firstly late with traffic jam then they have no option without speed to reach their destiny and finally that speed cause their last moment of their life. Life is the precious gift given my Allah and we play with speed due to traffic jam mainly raked by army convey.
While talking to many residence of Kashmir, everybody said we are facing lot of problems when we come out from our home and the reason of traffic jam is army convoy and we expect they will take a proper step to solve this issue instead of continue making their own rules. These voices stated that they have a big hope and from hoped from this article their message will be forwarded as soon as possible.
The traffic is an major issue of Kashmir and as the development like traffic signals, roads indicates good sign for Kashmir, so obey traffic rules and save precious lives.
