A 14-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two youths on November 9 in the jurisdiction of Loni police station of district Ghaziabad UP.
According to police, the girl, aged around 14 years, was abducted and raped by the two 19-year-old youths after they made her consume sedative-laced cold drink.
On the basis of complaint of victim’s father, an FIR was registered under sections 363 (kidnapping) and 376 (rape) of the IPC and relevant sections of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The accused duo has been arrested and sent to jail, he said.
The victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital and will be discharged soon, he said.
Reportedly, additional force has been deployed in the area as the victim and the accused belongs to different communities.
