An effective Human Resource Management Plan is incomplete without an efficient and competent Human Resource professionals. Brain storming should involve the study of employees and their contribution to the company as a whole, controlling of employee costs, bringing aboard ,new competent hires, employee trainings and superannuation and terminations.
To start with creating an effective Human Resources Management Plan, you need to evaluate where the business of the organization is focused during the each business cycle. Other aspects include the observations whether the organization is heading towards expansion, outsourcing or making cut-backs to save money. These aspects help to meet the company objectives.
Besides that you need to determine the key skills and talents needed to meet these objectives. This enables the HR Department to channelize the existing talents for effective goal orientation and also to decide that which and where the training is needed for better results.
Communication is another important aspect in a healthy Human Resource Management Plan .How well the company objectives, values and expectations are communicated to employees, is a fundamental aspect of managing the people of an organization. An utmost care is needed to handle communication to access the return of their people investments at critical times.
Alongside communication is evaluation of the Human Resources Management plan itself. Taking time to survey the employees of the company to find out how well they see the everyday experience of working for the company can reveal many things about the business. This is a time for review and adaptation when needed to tweak things to improve them. Most important is that Human Resources should put the face of humanity in the business. Planning company events, creation of employee recognition and improvement in incentive management, employee benefits, removal of alienation, certainly puts forward a happy and successful Human Resource Management Plan.
