Abdul Haq launches NRM clusters at Khumriyal

KUPWARA, JULY 27: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Abdul Haq today launched Khumriyal clusters under National Rubin Mission (NRM) and directed concerned implementing agencies to provide all basic amenities within the cluster.
The Minister also participated in the workshop organised by the central Ministry of Rural Development for implementation NRM here.
The Minister directed the district administration, implementing agencies, planners and visionary persons to formulate DPRs for integral cluster action plan (ICAP) for the improvement of socio-economic condition of the people besides creation of sustainable development of villages within the cluster head.

The District Development Commissioner Kupwara experts of Rural Development Department, GoI, Guru Nanak Dev University, and SKUAST and District Level officers threw light on the NRM.

The district Development Commissioner on this occasion answer the question and issues raised by the participants and seek cooperation from the experts planners and implementing agencies for sustainable development of the village on modern lines so that people would be able to benefited after formulating the comprehensive plan under ICAP. Meanwhile the minister also holds an Awami durbar where in the public in large number attended the durbar and projected their demands for early redressal.

The public representatives from different villages of lolab constituency also attended the public meeting at official residence of minister. On this occasion the minister for Rural Development Panchayat Raj, Law and Justice, Abdul Haq has said that present government lead by Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti is committed to resolve all issues and problems of the people are known to government steps are being taken to complete on-going schemes under various implementations of schemes to provide jobs as well as generation of valuable assets through these schemes.

He impressed upon the public representatives who met the minister that they should monitor the developmental works in their areas and avail the benefits from these schemes.
