Srinagar 05 dec (KNB): Senior Hurriyat leader Abdul Gani Bhat met interlocutor Dhineswar Sharma on Kashmir issue last week at his residence, media reports said.
According to Economic times, “Sharma met the Hurriyat leader at his residence in Wazir Bagh on 27 November around 10:30 at night, when one of the senior hurriyat leader was believed to be present in meeting.
However, when Bhat was asked he totally refused and said “His party Muslim conference is open to dialogue and is ready to meet anyone who is serious about Kashmir issue and ready to resolve it through talks”.
“Our doors are open for dialogue. Why shouldn’t we talk to people? We do it with pressmen. We do it with members of a delegation. We did it with Yashwant Sinha ? Why not with other people who come to see us? We feel that till the time Pakistan is not involved there will be no breakthrough”, Bhat added
Importantly, Senior Hurriyat leaders including Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yaseen Malik has already close door at their end for New Delhi’s interlocutor Dhineswar Sharma.(KNB)
