Kupwara 5 April(KNB):Celebrating The Collective Consciousness Of The Nation and to mark the fight against the Coronavirus outbreak and challenging the darkness of the Covid-19 crisis, Kuligam RR Bn of 8 Sector Rashtriya Rifles switched off all their lights and lightened the area with Diya, Candles and torches.
Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to show nation’s “collective resolve and solidarity” in its fight against coronavirus as the clock struck 9pm, lights went out in Kuligam Battalion(18 RR) of 8 Sector Rashtriya Rifles and Army Jawans gathered flashing mobile lights and lit candles and diyas.
It is pertinent to mention that PM Modi Had Urged People To Turn Off Lights At Their Homes For Nine Minutes At 9pm To Display The Country’s Collective Resolve And Solidarity To Defeat The Virus.(KNB)
